Socks

Okay while I was typing the last post I got my picture uploaded. I did it! I finished a sock! I am still working on Sara's poncho. The poor girl is never going to get it at this rate. It is just rather boring. Oh well. I am on the second rectangle. Once I am done with the rectangle putting it together will be very quick. Anyway...
FO:
One sock
a baby bib
WIP:
Sara's Poncho
To Do list:
a bag
other sock
scarf
Hallowig from Knitty.

Fun fun.
Happy Halloween!

Knitting Apprentice
You appear to be a Knitting Apprentice.
You've got the basics down pat and you might just
be falling in love with this hobby. Big
needles, funky yarns and simple shapes are the
name of the game, but it doesn't mean you don't
experiment a bit, here and there. As an
apprentice, you probably fall back on other
people to get you through those rough spots,
and if you don't know anyone who knits, you
probably have a few books or online sources to
tap.

Got 'em!

Yea that's right! I got my needles from Tara Knits! *happy dance* So once I finish the poncho I am going to dive right into the sock tutorial that is Here. I am done with one rectangle and now it is on to the second one. Should not take me to terribly long I hope! :P Sara is super excited so it would not be good for me to start anything else at the moment. Ahh well on to work on that poncho!
Impatiently,
Dee

Up to date

So my stuff to knit list is getting longer and I am not even done with my second project yet! *sigh* Here is what I have done on the Poncho so far...

One rectangle. I will cast off tonight and start on triangle number 2.I really need to finish this poncho, it is perfect weather for Sara to wear it! (Motivation attempt... now to see if it worked)
On the list to do:

  • Rachels scarf
  • my scarf with my Yummy(!) yarn
  • booga bag
  • and buy the clog pattern so I can try them. They look sooo comfy!

Anywho going to make supper and then get started on that poncho again.
Tea, knitting, and a movie what a great combination!

    Busy weekend

Not a great weekend for knitting but that is allright I did not mind missing it for my beautiful baby. We got her baptised this weekend! She looked do beautiful in her little dress. We then had a picnic for My father in laws birthday and the baptism celebration. Really it was a lovely day!

On the knitting side of things I got a lot done on the shawl. Still have a lot to go but that is allright. It is going to look great!
